“I have been using acupuncture for nearly ten years and I absolutely believe in the healing powers of Eastern medicine. I have benefited greatly from acupuncture over the years; I’ve had excellent results for migraines, premenstrual, etc. My acupuncturist moved to Austin about 5 years ago and it took me quite awhile to find someone I love – Angela Draper is that person. We just mesh. She’s incredibly intuitive and has helped me with hamstring tendinitis, lower back, neck pain, and female stuff – I highly recommend her. She’s also very kind and thoughtful and ensures that she rubs the muscles out – you leave her office feeling like you’re on a cloud!”

“I really understood what it meant to be a healer when I started treatment with Angela. I now see her before I see my HMO doctor. Her approach to pain and illness is refreshingly different. You really feel that she cares for you. She spends more time with you than any traditional doctor ever will. She has successfully treated me for menstrual issues, cold and flu symptoms, lower back pain and tendonitis in the wrist and shoulder.”

“Bottom line: Angela’s care works. I suffered nerve damage to my little toe as a result of wearing too-tight ski boots on a 3 day trip to Mammoth. My primary care MD told me it’s not an uncommon injury, and the nerve damage would take “3 years or so” to heal. It hurt to walk, so that wasn’t an acceptable outcome for me. “A few sessions of acupuncture accelerated the healing process tremendously. It wasn’t like a miracle cure and didn’t make the pain go away overnight, but it did absolutely seem to speed up the healing that my body was already doing, and it did so after every session. After about 3 months the pain was almost completely gone and I was able to resume one of my favorite pastimes of running the trails at Mission Trails Park, which had had been excruciating for a few months after the ski trip…. “I was skeptical about acupuncture at first, but my quality of life was compromised so I was willing to try something that was novel (for me). I would encourage anyone with chronic pain to give it a chance, and to follow Angela’s counsel about frequency and method. If you stick with it (pun intended), pain is lessened and healing is accelerated, way beyond the prognosis that might be given from conventional Western medicine. Angela’s acupuncture worked for me.”

“Angela is wonderful! Angela treated me about a year ago for back pain. I had been having painful flair ups once every month or two that would keep me up at night and would prevent me from surfing, climbing, or even sitting comfortably for about a week each time I had a flair up. I’d seen my primary care physician and a back specialist. Neither provided a solution that worked. After a few initial treatments from Angela and a regular treatment every month or two, I have been flair-up free! Thanks Angela! You are the best!”
